About Country Acres Condominium Association
Established in 1972, Country Acres Condominium Association is a welcoming residential community located in Des Plaines, Illinois.
Country Acres consists of 138 condominium units located in two residential buildings at 640 and 650 Murray Lane.
Residents enjoy a variety of amenities, including a large outdoor swimming pool, a children’s playground, landscaped grounds, and convenient access to shopping, transportation, and local services.
For more than five decades, Country Acres has provided homeowners with a comfortable and affordable place to live while continuing to invest in building improvements, property maintenance, and community amenities.

🅿️ Visitor Parking Permit Distribution
Distribution of the new Visitor Parking Permits will begin on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
Residents may pick up their permits at the following times and locations:
Regular Pickup Hours
- Every Saturday
- 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Additional Evening Pickup Dates
- July 21 & July 22 — 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- July 29 & July 30 — 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Important Information
- Effective August 1, 2026, all current paper Visitor Parking Passes will no longer be valid. Only the new Visitor Parking Permits may be used for guest parking.
- Each resident will be required to sign for the receipt of their new visitor parking permits.
- During permit pickup, residents will also have the opportunity to enroll in CACHA’s SMS Alert System.
- The SMS Alert System is used primarily for emergency notifications, including water shutoffs, power outages, urgent maintenance issues, and other important community announcements.
- Residents who wish to receive text message alerts must complete and sign the SMS Authorization Form at the time of pickup.
If you are unable to pick up your permits during the scheduled dates and times, please contact the Board to arrange an alternate pickup.
Community Landscaping Improvements
Seasonal landscaping enhancements have been completed throughout the property.
Fresh mulch has been installed in common areas to improve the appearance of the community and maintain attractive outdoor spaces for residents and visitors.
2026 Property Improvement Projects
Additional community improvement projects are planned for 2026.
As part of the Association’s ongoing building preservation program, tuckpointing work continues throughout the community. This multi-year project has been underway for several years, with a portion of the property being completed each year to maintain and protect the exterior brickwork.
The Association is also evaluating crack sealing and pavement sealcoating for community roads and parking areas. Major asphalt repairs were completed over the past two years, and applying a protective seal coat is expected to extend pavement life and help reduce future maintenance costs.
🏊 Community Pool
The Country Acres Pool is open annually from Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather permitting.
Pool hours and operations may be adjusted due to weather conditions, maintenance, or safety concerns.
Pool passes are required for all residents.

Roof Replacement Project Completed
The community roof replacement project was successfully completed in 2026.
All roofing work has been finalized and paid for through the association’s insurance claim. Residents can expect improved protection and long-term reliability from the new roofing system.
